Our museum has been helping motion picture companies since the late 1950's. We've helped with an estimated 1000 motion pictures, including student films. It can be as small as a little hand prop or one uniform, to one hundred uniforms, or from a motorcycle to a full size military tank. Please contact us for your production needs. Unfortunately, not all vehicles are available for motion picture rental, but please contact us to make sure.
The museum can also do uniform rentals from the World War II era all the way through the current Digital Age Camouflage.
If you have anything to donate the museum is a fully accredited N.P.O. (non-profit organization). We can provide receipts for donations for tax deductions. The best form of donation is by mailing the museum a check, made out to the American Society of Military History. A PayPal account is being fabricated to simplify the process. The museum is always looking for volunteers, consultants, financial assistance, corporate support, or anybody interested in preserving history. If you are interested in volunteering you can call or email the museum using the information found in our contact section. You can view our wish list at the bottom of this page to see how else you can help, and keep in mind, all donations are tax deductible.
The Volunteers at the museum are a family. The museum's volunteers participate in events like the Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade and the Rose Parade. These events help the volunteers to feel like a family. Below is a picture of an event some of the volunteers participated in. This was a Veteran's Job Fair for the City of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation department. If you are interested in volunteering please contact the museum by phone, email, letter, or by coming down to the museum. Our volunteers help with living history displays, restoration of vehicles in mechanical and cosmetic ways, and many other things. If you are interested please contact the museum to find out how you can help.
