Two of these dual automatic guns (Twin 40’s or Pom Pom) are on display. These guns were used on ships as anti-aircraft protection during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Loading this weapon required the operators to manually load 4 round clips at a time. They were eventually phased out of service because they could no longer track modern high-speed aircraft.
