After nearly a year of meticulous work, countless hours of labor, and the acquisition of hard-to-find parts, we’re thrilled to unveil the fully restored 5-ton M62 Truck Wrecker! This crane-equipped powerhouse, Exhibit #101, is a testament to the resilience and skill of our museum team and the unwavering support of our community.
Throughout 2024, our dedicated volunteers and staff poured their time and expertise into repairing this remarkable vehicle, originally built in the 1950s for light field and base operations. Their commitment brought this historic truck back to life, ensuring its functionality and preserving a vital piece of military history.
